For 2022, the Wellington Summer Program will be open for all families – including those not currently enrolled at Wellington during the school year! Please note that students not enrolled at Wellington must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination during the registration process. To that end, only non-Wellington students entering Grade 1 and above are eligible for registration. This means that programs for students in Kindergarten and younger are limited to current Wellington students.

At this time, everyone at Wellington is required to wear a properly-fit 3-ply mask while inside the building, regardless of vaccination status. We anticipate this being the policy through Summer 2022. Even if Wellington's policy changes, our partner organizations, instructors, and institutions have the full discretion to require masking. Please know that students who are non-compliant with wearing a 3-ply mask over their nose and mouth may be sent home without a refund.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination must be submitted for any non-Wellington student registering for any Summer Program. This means that for families not enrolled at Wellington, only students entering Grade 1 and above and with proof of vaccination are eligible to attend the Summer Program.

Yes. Payment in full is required at the time of registration.

A full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee per class, will be given if you cancel a class for any reason prior to May 27, 2022, at midnight. After that date, we cannot issue refunds unless a program is cancelled.

For Summer 2022, we will offer a full slate of half-programs, with morning (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) and afternoon (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) sessions. Most weeks, it's possible to register for a separate morning and afternoon class to build a full day of care.

Yes! Neither lunch nor aftercare is included in the cost of Summer Programs, but both can be added during registration. (Simply find the "Lunch" and / or "Aftercare" session for each week of camp you wish to register for.)

Lunch is $40 per week, with a variety of kid-friendly foods and snacks prepared by Wellington's dining service, Aladdin Food Management. Lunch should only be added for students attending Full-Day programs, or both a morning and afternoon Half-Day session on a given week. Unfortunately, lunch cannot be purchased by-the-day, and cash can't be accepted on site. Students are also welcome to bring lunch from home instead of purchasing the add-on option! (Students who have dietary restrictions must bring lunch from home, as our summer food service does not have the same flexibility or options as typical school year offerings.)

Aftercare is $100 per week, providing structured, supervised childcare from 4:00 to 6:00 for students registered for Full-Day or afternoon Half-Day sessions. Students not enrolled in Aftercare must be picked up by 4:15. If you plan to use the Aftercare Program, you must register online in advance. As part of our commitment to health, safety, and capacity limits, daily drop-ins cannot be accepted.

Yes. All camps have enrollment limits to provide an optimal experience for campers. The waitlists are located at the bottom of the page on the registration screen. You will be notified via email if a spot becomes available and you will have 24 hours to accept the open spot. There is no fee or deposit to join a waitlist.

As we work toward rebuilding our program capacity during the pandemic, we have taken several important measures, including restricting class sizes, shifting class offerings, refocusing on outdoor and on-campus programs where possible, and requiring families not enrolled at Wellington to submit proof of vaccination when registering students. Additionally, we will continue to use the school's COVID-19 Response Plan to guide and inform our decision-making in the coming months.

Summer learning goes beyond the classroom

Registration Opens February 1st, 2022, at 9a.m.

The Wellington Summer Program provides children ages 4 years old through 12th grade the opportunity to discover new talents, learn essential skills, tackle new obstacles, and build lasting friendships. At Wellington, learning goes beyond the traditional school year and encompasses many disciplines, so that your child's summer can be built around topics including fencing, drama, writing, film, horse back riding, and athletics.

“My child leaves the school in a bright mood looking forward to the next time she will be back and that is the best thing a first time mom of an ever growing, independent child could ask for.”

“We loved the variety of programs offered and my son loved the camps so much he asked if he could go to school at Wellington.”

“My favorite part of the Summer Program is that academics could be woven into fun.”
