Middle School Theatre Presents: "Into the Woods, Jr." - April 25-26
Wellington’s Middle School Theatre takes the stage with “Into the Woods Jr.,” a musical adventure that weaves together the stories of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and more. When a baker and his wife set out to break a witch’s curse, their paths cross with familiar fairy tale characters — and their wishes lead to unexpected consequences. Showtimes are April 25 and 26 at 7 p.m. Ticket sales begin soon.

Well Life Series Book Club - "Growing Up in Public—Coming of Age in a Digital World" - April 7

Upper School Theatre Presents: "Little Shop of Horrors" - April 3-5
Get ready for a darkly comedic, sci-fi musical classic! Wellington’s Upper School Theatre brings “Little Shop of Horrors” to the stage, featuring an R&B-singing, man-eating plant with a taste for fame. Follow meek florist Seymour Krelborn as he navigates unexpected success—and the terrifying price that comes with it. Showtimes are April 3-5 at 7 p.m. (PG-13 for strong language and violence). Annual Spring Blood Drive - April 15
Wellington is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, April 15, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., in C111 (Innovation Space). Students aged 16 and older are eligible to donate, and the drive is also open to parents and caregivers. To register, visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code wellschool. One donation can save up to three lives.

ReWilding Wellington Family Workday - April 12
In honor of Earth Month, Wellington is hosting our 3rd annual family workday to remove amur honeysuckle and other invasive plants, making room for new native plantings, which will attract pollinators and birds. Join Wellington at Pride Parade on June 14
Please join GSA, alumni, and the LGBTQIA+ Families Affinity Group on June 14 for Stonewall’s Pride Parade. Last year’s parade was a fun community event, and we hope to extend the participation! The step-off is at 10:30 a.m., and more details will be sent closer to the parade. Register to walk with Wellington by May 15.

Alumni Celebration - April 25
Join us in the Innovation Space for an evening of connection and celebration as we honor our 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award winner Jonathan Koff, M.D. ’89 and Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Hirobumi "Bumi" Hidaka ’04. The Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) continues its parent webinar series with "Planning for Summers of Growth & Joy." Clinical psychologist and author Dr. Michael Thompson will explore how parents can balance competing demands while creating summer experiences that foster growth, connection, and new skills for children. Grandparents and Special Friends Celebration - May 2
Grandparents and special friends will be back to celebrate together the morning of Friday, May 2, for breakfast, a special program, and visits to classrooms. Birthday Book Program
We are excited to formally relaunch one of Wellington’s longest-standing traditions – the Birthday Book Program! Your donation will provide a new book to the Abbott Family Learning Center's collection and will include a nameplate with your child's name and birthday. Spring Sports Update
Upper School:
Upper School Baseball: The baseball team started their season with a doubleheader against Whitehall this past Saturday, and they started with a bang, winning both games by a combined score of 32-4!
Upper School Girls Lacrosse: The girls lacrosse team won their first game of the season on Tuesday night, 11-4, vs. Chillicothe High School! They play their next game tonight, April 3, against Westerville Central at 6 p.m.!
