Join us on Tuesday, November 19, for The Wellington Fund Day of Giving (formerly One Wellington)! Wellington’s culture of innovation is elevated by community, and with your support, we can continue to help students find their purpose and realize their potential — together. This year, donors have the opportunity to direct their gift toward civic engagement programming, new athletic training room and middle school locker rooms, tuition assistance, and general mission support.

Clarity Application for Tuition Assistance Is Now Open
Families seeking need-based tuition assistance may now apply using the Clarity application. Clarity offers a streamlined, user-friendly, mobile-friendly application process that can take as few as 20 minutes to complete. To learn more and start your application for the 2025-26 school year, visit our website, where you'll find step-by-step instructions and answers to frequently asked questions. The application for the 2025-26 school year is open now and must be completed by November 2, 2024. Tuition assistance is open to new and returning families.

Only One Late Start - November 5
This year, we will only have one late start on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5. Our 10 a.m. start allows students to witness parents and caregivers voting, creating moments of reflection on the importance of voting and how government impacts them.

Birthday Book Program
We are excited to formally relaunch one of Wellington’s longest-standing traditions – the Birthday Book Program! Your donation will provide a new book to the Abbott Family Learning Center's collection and will include a nameplate with your child's name and birthday. Lunch Bunch is a great opportunity to have lunch with your child(ren) in kindergarten-grade 4. Families are limited to two signups, with one adult attending each signup. Fall Sports Update
Upper School:
Upper School Boys Soccer:
The upper school boys soccer team remains undefeated in league play with a record of 6-0-1 in league play. They finish out their league schedule on Saturday playing at Bishop Rosecrans at 5:30 p.m.
Upper School Girls Golf:
The girls varsity golf team finished the season with their best record in ten years! They had two losses in dual and tri-matches all season, and both were to D1 opponents. Their season finished last Wednesday with a 9th-place finish at sectionals!
Upper School Boys Golf:
Solomon Graham '27 finished 32nd in the district tournament.
Upper School Girls Tennis:
The varsity girls tennis team is once again your MSL League Champions with an undefeated record and three players who didn’t lose a single league match all season – Mary Claire Thompson ’26, Paige Thompson ’27, and Dea Singh ’27. Players begin sectional competition on Tuesday, October 1, at Columbus Academy. Wellington is sending three singles players – Mary Claire Thompson ’26, Paige Thompson ’27, and Lia Tawes ’25 – and two doubles teams – Dea Singh ’27/Naomi Livits ’27 and Caroline Thompson ’28/Elizabeth Cooke ’27.
Middle School:
Middle School Cross Country:
Both the boys and girls middle school two-mile school records were broken this season! Ben Austin ’30 set the new boys record with a time of 10:50, and Emma Jane Lumbley ’30 set the new girls record with a time of 12:27.
Other News:
We’re celebrating fall sports seniors on Thursday, October 10! Playing against Tree of Life, the girls soccer takes the field at 5 p.m., and the boys team plays at 7:30 p.m. Between games, we’ll host a ceremony for senior athletes.
