JagsConnect Is Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders

JagsConnect Is Shaping Tomorrow's Leaders

Dear Wellington Community,

I’m thrilled to introduce JagsConnect, a new Wellington program dedicated to fostering a thriving professional network for students and graduates. JagsConnect will support career growth and lifelong learning within the Wellington community by linking current students and alumni with experienced professionals, creating opportunities for mentorship, career-building, and lasting connections.

One of the greatest lifelong benefits of a Wellington education is the access students and alumni have to one another and our extensive community and peer network. Through JagsConnect, they can forge meaningful connections and build networks that provide guidance and support, sustaining their journey to finding their purpose and realizing their potential long after graduation. In this way, JagsConnect extends Wellington's mission and embodies our school's educational vision.

I want to extend my gratitude and thanks to J.J. Bain '06 and our Wellington Alumni Advisory Board, who have been hard at work developing JagsConnect for several months. Please read on for a letter from J.J. that explains more about JagsConnect and how you can get involved.

Thanks for all you do for Wellington,...and Go, JagsConnect!

Dear Wellington Families,

Shape Tomorrow’s World With Us
JagsConnect, presented by the Wellington Alumni Advisory Board, invites all parents and caregivers to join us in this exciting mission by participating as volunteers. Your involvement can profoundly impact our students’ and alumni's lives. Together, we can shape the future by guiding those who will shape tomorrow’s world. To get involved, please fill out this form: JagsConnect Volunteer Form.

JagsConnect will connect volunteers with current students or alumni based on shared professional interests and the type of support offered. You can choose to support students wanting to learn more about college selection and career paths or help someone find an internship, job shadowing, or employment opportunity. The only expectation is that you are willing to connect with alumni or current students and give them the chance to develop a professional connection.

JagsConnect furthers our mission of academic excellence and enhances our sense of community by uniting individuals across generations to make a meaningful impact. With 36 graduating classes, over 1,700 alumni, and more than 2,900 parents and parents of alumni – the time is now for Wellington to formalize a career and mentorship program.

I’m excited to witness the positive impact JagsConnect will have on our community. By strengthening our community ties, we continue the Wellington legacy of academic excellence and growth.

Thank you for all you do for Wellington…and let’s help JagsConnect!
