The Wellington Annual Fund

Philanthropy is love with impact

The Wellington Annual Fund

The Wellington Annual Fund fuels the mission of our school - to help students find their purpose and realize their potential for tomorrow’s world. The best way for our annual giving program to assist in achieving this mission is through direct support of people and programs.

Just like we encourage each student to dive deep into what excites them, the Wellington Annual Fund offers opportunities to support what you love through directed giving that powers the school’s mission and supports our highest priorities.

    Wellington Annual Fund 2022-23 Priorities

As the school continues to see an increase in requests for tuition assistance, support of this priority will continue to extend accessibility and increase opportunities for more students and families to experience a Wellington education.

We recognize that well-being and a sense of belonging are the foundation to be secured before students can make positive social and academic leaps. This year, the school is committed to expanding its efforts to support the current and long-term mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our students. Contributions for this fund will support students with new programming in the following areas next year: Conflict resolution, peer to peer relationships, and anti-bullying; social media impact and mentoring; and anti-harassment and gender equity for US students.

The Innovation Space will be a dynamic and flexible area intentionally designed to encourage upper school students to create fresh solutions to problems that affect our local and global community, inspire new business ideas, or encourage the creation of a prototype to be fabricated in the Maker Space. This space has been used as a prekindergarten classroom over the last few years, offering a location that will allow a renovation to open access directly to the Maker Space. This will be the 4th learning space to house Wonderlab, our research and creative works incubator that supports student projects in K-12. Wonderlab helps students define areas of study, then introduces tools and resources to navigate and execute complex and collaborative projects.

Give to the Innovation Space Fund

We are driven by innovation and are willing to pivot when needed. The opportunity to use funds wherever they are needed most at any given moment truly fuels and enriches the Wellington experience.

    Giving in Action

During the 2021-22 school year, gifts to the annual fund helped us launch new initiatives like composting in the dining room and the Roberts Field Gatehouse Pavilion, provide tuition assistance, and pivot and respond to changing needs as they arose throughout the year.
